I’ve hit a bit of a brick wall with my project this week. Software is a bit of an issue at the moment so I’m waiting on our wonderful IT technician Penny to do some investigation into possible solutions. As I’ve previously blogged, I’ve been doing research into software packages, and playing around with anything I can. My machine only comes with Windows Movie Maker which is frankly, rubbish. It isn’t behaving anyway(its distorting screencaptures if I try to make a movie using them and playback distorts the images even more) so even if I wanted to, I am unable to produce anything right now. Its frustrating as I really would love to be working on putting together the finished final podlet.
In the meantime I think I will use this week to collect together the images etc that I need for other podlets and write scripts for the audio tracks.

Hi I am having the same sort of problems. I have managed to do the screen capture side using captive but am having differcult producing the webcam footage to go with it. I am not even sure if I will be able to put the two together. Our IT person should also be helping me to sort them out. It is frustrating when you hit a brick wall!!
Technology eh? It’s very frustrating. I just want to be getting on with it, hopefully things will start moving along at a better pace too.
